Concrete Leveling in Action

See what professional lifting can accomplish.

Concrete can settle when soil compacts, washes out or shifts through Minnesota freeze-and-thaw cycles. When a slab is still structurally suitable, lifting can restore support, reduce uneven transitions and improve how the surface drains and functions.

A Practical Alternative to Replacement

Preserve a serviceable slab when lifting is the right repair.

Not every cracked or settled slab is a candidate. Laumann’s Outdoors evaluates the existing concrete, the amount of movement, adjacent surfaces and drainage before recommending lifting or another solution.

Concrete Gallery FAQ

What to know about the projects shown.

Each property and slab is different. The finished result depends on the condition of the concrete, the soil beneath it and the surrounding grade.

What types of concrete can be lifted?

Common candidates include driveways, sidewalks, patios, steps, garage floors, aprons and other slabs that have settled but remain structurally suitable.

Is concrete lifting always possible?

No. Severely broken, deteriorated or structurally failed concrete may need replacement. An on-site inspection determines whether lifting is practical.

Can leveling improve drainage?

Correcting a low section may improve water movement when the slab position is causing pooling. The surrounding grade and drainage must also be evaluated.

Where does Laumann’s Outdoors provide concrete lifting?

Service is available in Buffalo, Minnesota and surrounding Wright County communities, subject to project type and scheduling availability.
